Welcome/My First Attempt At Cooking

Sorry about all the "Lorem ipsum dolor" stuff; Sammy put ridiculous placeholder text in my blog! Anyway, welcome to my squirrel family blog! First, we'll talk about my first attempt at cooking.

So not into making acorn soup. I burned the acorns instead of boiling them through and then I had to go gather some more. After I got more for my second try, I turned those acorns to mush. After that one, Mom did the acorns, but she insisted on me trying to season the soup. Bad mistake, ma'am. I put a spoonful of red pepper extract in the big bowl to give the soup a tiny kick, then I tasted it. There was a kick alright; I put a spoonful of ghost pepper sauce in the acorn soup instead of normal red pepper. Kick, kick. Mom hasn't let me near the spice cabinet since then.

I hope there was enough of my embarrassment in this first post to entertain you; I have to go check on Sammy and make sure he isn't drawing in my private journal.
